Dear Prof. Wang,
Thanks you so much for arranging a most unique and exhilarating
tour of China. The lectures you enabled me to give were not
only well received but gave me a whole new perspective on
the diversity of views in China. The lectures also allowed
me to meet many Chinese people; some heartwarming, enduring
relationships have resulted. In addition, the escorts you
supplied for our shopping in Beijing did a great job of negotiating
with the vendors and enabled my wife and me to purchase some
fantastic bargains. I have traveled throughout the world
but the time spent in China was the most memorable and enjoyable
of all my trips - a direct result of your creativity and
hard work. I hope many others have the opportunity to take
advantage of your talents and contacts.

Dear Professor Wang,
Thank you so much for making it possible for me to take twenty
one college students to China over a period of two years.
Unlike ordinary tours, these students were able to meet people
their age and make friends which, in some instances, may
last a lifetime. To my knowledge, there are no other tours
quite like this. In addition, you gave me the opportunity
to lecture to Chinese faculty and college students on subjects
close to my heart, sharing what I think important for all
peoples in the world. Few people have this kind of opportunity.
I am truly grateful, and I heartily encourage others to take
advantage of the service you offer.

Traveling to China with Professor Wang as a guide is a comforting,
stimulating and yet surprising experience. You feel as if
every preparation has been made just for you, his dear friend.
As an entourage of other friends at conferences brush by
to give him gifts, you realize that maybe you are not so
special, but he is! He is so kind and accommodating to all
those he travels with--even in large groups--that you soon
wonder whether he will have to buy another suitcase for all
the gifts he receives.
Professor Wang's attention to detail, his capacity as a liaison,
the cultural and academic contacts he has accrued, his knowledge,
wisdom and brotherly empathy are legendary. Professor Wang
arranged two of my trips to China and introduced me to a wide
variety of fascinating people and places. He arranged conferences
at key institutions with leaders in higher education who have
helped share positive ideas and ideals beyond my imagination
as a result of our collaboration. Without him, I would not
have had the rich experiences that ensued, no doubt. Through
it all, I gained a lifelong friend. I have come to realize
that I am definitely no exception to the rule. This endorsement
speaks for many.

Wang Zhihe is an incredible person. If you have an interest in learning about the culture of China in any respect, he can help you plan a trip that conforms to your interests. His social networks are beyond any belief, and you will be treated with enormous amounts of respect. You will definitely have good guanxi. In addition, Dr. Wang is a most pleasant person to work with. He is thorough in planning, friendly in conversation, and concerned with your well-being. He made my three weeks in China some of the best in my life. If you have any specific questions, feel free to email me at btshapir@gmail.com, putting “Wang Zhihe” or “IPDC Tours” in your subject line.

Dear Dr. Wang,
I cannot thank you enough for all you have done and are continuing to do to make this tour a life changing experience. Literally, I feel that I am making friends all over China. The wonderful hospitable people, I cannot say enough about, as well as, the safety that all travelers seem to be experiencing here. The students that have been assigned are of the highest character, and are forever demonstrating their concern that I do not make a mistake as a westerner. They are super patient in teaching me the customs; and they courteously correct me when I make unintentional mistakes, or do things that might be considered rude in the culture. The trip has helped me tremendously to re-think the things that I perhaps misunderstood about China and Asia. I have found the Chinese to very open-minded to ask me things of which they have been inquisitive regarding the West - this has been very refreshing. Correcting errors and bringing light to preconceived ideas is a very exciting part of the trip. Sharing in areas where we both observe need for improvement in our cultures generates a more bonding experience for me. I am fascinated with your technological advancements in computer, cell phones, and solar use, among many other things. The wonderful cuisine that the Chinese have been cultivating for about 5,000 years is very overwhelming, even my Chinese acquaintances and friends tell me that they do not know the names of all the dishes when ordering in a restaurant - pretty different from my part of the world! In China they seem to eat almost twice what many back home would eat, and yet, do get fat. Amazing! Many other things make this trip a very enjoyable one, such as, the constant encounters with everyday people who desire to try their English out on me. I am very surprised at the amount of people who know enough English to communicate - this is very helpful to a visitor like me. Also, this provides a chance to talk to new people almost everywhere I have been. I highly recommend this tour to anyone who wishes to know more about China, and as a precursor to a longer stay here - simply because of all the advance tutoring that is receive from the the students, professors, and other structured experiences that are offered.
Sincerely,
